Mac Mini... forgot the digital audio out?
The Mac mini appears to be a great computer. If I didn't already have a Dual G5 I would get one. I would definitely get this for any basic computer. Meaning everyone who doesn't perform large amounts of video, photo editing or 3D rendering. This computer would be ideal for me at my work. I currently use a slower machine than the mac mini as my main computer at work.
For my use, when I saw the mac mini. I immediately thought media center. It has the firewire for expansion, the combo drive for ripping dvds without another computer. iTunes sharing support built in. I see one major flaw, where is the optical out? This is unacceptable as a so called "digital hub". If they wanted us to listen to analog audio why didn't they include a 45 player on top? I hope with the next revision we will all see a digital out of some kind.
