Virtual Rape???
Virtual Rape in Brussels
Someone was raped in the virtual world of second life and now police in the real world want to charge the person with rape.
Virtual Rape is not rape, and should never extend outside of the virtual setting in which it existed. Here is the thing, walk away from the computer, you do not have to endure this as a real person would that would really be getting raped.
Rape is by definition a physical act. Now enforcing laws on virtualized physical acts is ludicrous. Are we going to start seeing copyright infringement lawsuits inside second life spread into the real world? Am I the only sane person who thinks this whole second life thing is a little weird?
Maybe I can reverse this retarded thinking of prosecuting in the real world for virtual acts. I'll start committing crimes in the real world (preferably profitable ones) and ask for trial and setence in Second Life.
